To the Queen fans here, what do you want to see included? What do you hope is NOT included? Should there be one BIG set or several smaller (and less expensive) ones?
Personally, I wanna hear EVERYTHING from demos, alternate versions, works with other artists, B-sides, remixes, 12" mixes, covers, unreleased tracks to instrumentals. Whatever they dig up, I want.
I hope they don't include previously released studio albums or DVD's. The DVD's should be released seperately, this also goes for any live concerts.
I also think putting everything into one big set would be a bad idea. It'd be far too expensive for the majority of fans. The smart bet is to have themed sets like "The Queen archives: 1973-1978" and so on. It'd just make more sense.

I'm not sure how much material they plan to release- but one box set would be alot of cash from what I heard they have in the vaults. I also hop they release every demo, b-side and remix they have. As for the DVDS, if they do release them with the set, I hope they come in their own cases unlike the Freddie box set, which was still a very good set. I heard night at the opera is due to come out next month in DVD-A format and the tribute concert is due on DVD spring 2002- I'll take anything I can get.

I think I remember Roger saying in the radio interview for the Miracle how there were lots of unfinished ideas from each album that were worked on but then got pushed aside because of better ideas or time constraints, and how when it came time to do a new album those ideas were never revisited because they wanted to move to something "fresh".

One real nice addition would be the other 4 BBC sessions.
Session 1 (2-5-73) already released
My Fairy King, Keep Yourself Alive, Doing Alright, Liar
Session 2 (7-25-73) not yet released
See What A Fool I've Been, Liar, Son & Daughter, Keep Yourself Alive
Session 3 (12-3-73) already released
Orge Battle, Great King Rat, Modern Times R & R, Son & Daughter
Session 4 (4-3-74) not yet released
Modern Times R & R, March of the Black Queen, Nevermore, White Queen
Session 5 (10-16-74) not yet released
Now I'm Here, Stone Cold Crazy, Flick of the Wrist, Tenement Funster
Session 6 (11-14-77) not yet released
Spread Your Wings, Its Late, My Melancholy Blues, We Will Rock You

I would really love to have an unreleased concert from the later 70's (around the News of the World or Jazz albums time period), but only a complete concert, not a combination of highlights from different shows... a complete concert from each tour would be great too, but ya gotta be realistic.
One combination I would approve of would be collection of all the cover songs played in concert through the years... (Imagine, Saturday Nights Alright for Fighting, Tavaszi Szel, Mannish Boy, Gimme Some Lovin', Immigrant Song...)
---------------------------------------------------------
Whatever happens, I hope the people who put this together approach it from a fan's perspective, and that material is not vetoed just because someone in the band cringes after hearing it. As far as cost... well this is Queen after all.

Call me crazy but I don't think we'll ever get a proper release of Queen's "Imagine".
Brian May did a version of Lennon's "God" called "The Dream Is Over" and wanted to include it on his "Live at the Brixton Academy" album but didn't get permission.
Maybe Yoko doesn't like Queen?
