Upcoming Gamecube deal.... (1 Viewer)

I recently read somewhere (although I can't remember which forum) that starting Feb. 9 (until May 2003), Nintendo will be offering the Gamecube at the standard price of $150.00, however, you will also get one of four select games for free (the only one I want is Metroid which I specifically remember was one of the four listed). Can anyone else confirm this? In addition, does anyone know if you can still get a free game with the purchase the Gamecube/Mario bundle, or can it only be done via purchasing the bare-bones system?

As far as I'm aware, you can still do it with the bundle. I'll speak with coporate tomorrow (GameStop) and see what they say. The other games include Star Fox, Resident Evil Zero and Mario Party 4.
