I'm in the process of trying to finalize the selection of a couple of new sets. Ive decided on Samsung. I've been doing my homework on both the CNET and the Samsung websites. The deeper I dig, the more confused I get. For example, the Samsung website is very thorough in its description of the 3 through 9 series but I cannot find any mention of models such as LN-T4661F, LN-T4669FX, etc. Are these models no longer in their current catalogue?

Can anyone give me an overview of Samsung's model number hierarchy??

Thanks very much,
Bill

Those models (LN-T4661F, LN-T4669FX) are well over a year old. The F at the end means something like "frosted" screen (helps in non-reflectivity when viewing the screen).
