Unshielded speakers next to an RPTV? (1 Viewer)

I'm looking to purchase an RPTV for my family room. Due to limited space, I'll need to locate my unshielded main speakers (B&W 601s) as close as possible to the unit, without affecting the picture. Does anybody know how close to an RPTV I can place unshielded speakers? I currently have them about 10" from my 32" direct view with no ill effects. Are RPTVs just as susceptible? Am I more concerned with their distance from the guns as opposed to the screen? Thanks for the help.

RPTV's are actually less susceptible to unshielded speakers because their CRT's are more protected further inside the cabinate...I had my B&W's about 8 inches away with no effect at all...
