Since DVD has afforded the opportunity to revisit many a lost and forgotten film, now is as good a time as any to bring a goodie out of the vault, the crazed Olsen/Johnson comedy HELLZAPOPPIN'. This great adaptation of the stage play is easily one of the best examples of breaking the fourth wall, anything goes comedy ever made, and for decades we in America have been denied the opportunity to see it.

Please, Universal, make a deal with whatever or whoever has tied your hands on this film, and let us see this underrated classic again!

Universal has never issued the title on VHS, so I think a DVD is a looooooong ways off, but yes, it would be good to see this finally come out of the vaults, that's for sure.
