I know this movie tanked, but i really do believe it is one if the best superhero movies out there, sets, music, acting ( except john lones beard )are all first class. This deserves better then bare bones. aparently there are quite a few deleted scenes. "the glamour, the mystery, the danger. the shadow knows.

The digital master used for the DTS laserdisc is phenomenal. Please do this title right.

Also: Proper 1.85:1 aspect ratio this time and 16x9 enhanced from a new 1080p HD master.

    Thanks!

I would buy it also if you put it out in the OAR, I already have the "formatted to fit the screen" version.

I've held off on buying this; mainly because it isn't OAR. I would definitely buy this in a heartbeat if it was re-released in OAR; even if it was bare-bones.

I have also not bought it simply because it's not OAR. Though the DTS is quite tempting.

This is a guilty pleasure of mine. [IMG] I would love to replace my DTS LD with an OAR anamorphic transfer with DTS sound.

I'm holding on to my LaserDisc until you release the proper DVD in OAR.

I have the widescreen LD with regular 'ol Dolby Surround and it is fantastic. I would love to be able to upgrade to a widescreen DVD with DTS some day. But for now, it looks like I'll have to keep what I've got.
No OAR, no sale, as someone said once (or many times) around here. [IMG]

The wife's gone to pick up The Shadow a couple times in the past... I wouldn't let her get it because of that dreadful: Formatted to fit your TV.

Ya know what? 1.33:1 is NOT formatted to fit my TV... I have a 1.77:1 TV!! Explain that! Hah!

Anyway... I'll wait, and wait, and wait, and wait, until the OAR version is released (With full bitrate DTS hopefully). Then I'll DEFINATELY buy it!

    Chris.
