The Image release was bare-bones and didn't even have a Dolby Digital track!
    Please re-release it with:
Complete "This Island Earth" movie as a seamless branching/2nd angle for the disc.
    Deleted scenes
    Trailers and TV spots
    Making of documentary
    photo gallery
    anamorphic widescreen image
Dolby Digital 5.1 sound, DTS 5.1
    Complete shooting script
Since it's out of print, a fully-packed special edition would make a lot of MST3K fans really happy!

There won't be a commentary on any SE. The Brains said it would be kind-of redundant.
I did hear some rumblings about an SE, but nothing solid

It would be hilarious to see them do a commentary on their commentary of a film (if that makes sense :crazy [IMG]. While I still feel the TV episodes were better, I would be glad to buy this as an SE!

    I'd like to add this:
A subtitle feature with the "lost jokes" should be added so that all the quips taken out by the Universal focus groups are added in where they would have been in the movie. Kind of like the "Science update" on the Cosmos set.

    Matthew, that cover is sweet!
I'm glad to have the original DVD, but a special edition would be a must-buy. I hope Universal considers it.
