No, not at all. Thanks to some contractual maneuvering that only Barry Diller and his lawyers probably understand, Universal Music Group is not part of Vivendi Universal Entertainment. VUE includes the theme parks, the television assets and the movie studio, but not UMG. GE's NBC is acquiring only VUE. UMG is still owned by the Frenchies.
