Universal remote (1 Viewer)

I have a Rotel RSP 1066 pre-pro with the Rotel RR-1050 remote. I have never liked this remote as well as the Marantz RC 2000 MKII that it replaced and would like to replace it. The MX-500 looks like a real contender , but I would like a remote that can send RF signals also.Is there anything in the MX-500 price range ($80) that can do all the things I require,or will I have to pay alot more or forget the RF. Thanks

Missed this thread and posted a somewhat similar thread!

My Marantz RC2000 just died and I was also looking atht eh MX500 and the URC 100-200 models. I will do a little research on these 2 models but do tell me what you decided in the end!

This Rotel remote was actually one of my favorite remotes. How much time have you given yourself to get use to it. I've always thought about buying one to replace when I sold my 1066 and 1065. Do you plan on keeping it or would you consider selling it ?
