maybe it's just my player but on most if not EVERY Universal DVD I own it is impossible to change the audio track by pressing the Audio button on the remote,I've gotta go into the menu and choose the audio track I want to listen to,This is a real pain when trying to hear a commentary.PLEASE do something about this.THANKS!!!!!!!!!!

It's not just your player....Disney and Universal discs do this. It sucks and we've never heard WHY.

Disney does it because they use alt. Angles depending on the language track they use. They said that J6P will get confused, hit his audio button and not know how to go back and the titles and the language won't match (horrors!)

Universal just does it to piss us off

That may be true for Disney (which is really lame since it is not permanent - they can eject the disc from the player and hit play again - which will reset everything), but Universal has known about this for a long time now - and refuses to comment or address it in any way.

1. When trying to switch audio-on-the-fly - you can't.

2. Going back to the main menu, and selecting DTS - restarts the film from scratch.

3. Setting DTS initially prevents you from also setting subtitles. You must set subtitles first, then DTS. You get the DTS logo playing as soon as you select DTS - and have no way to return to the 'Language' options and set the subtitle track on/off.

4. Can't set the subtitle track on-the-fly on nearly all the discs. You must go back to the main menu and set it.

5. Can't set commentary track on/off on-the-fly, you must go back to main menu.

These are not minor issues - the a issues that should have been resolved a long time ago. I buy a lot of Universal films and I call Universal on every disc to complain.

No response!
