Got the Mahler ($20.99 CDN @ HMV Canada - downtown T.O. store). It's listed as a 44.1/24 PCM STEREO & SURROUND SOUND (SACD LAYER). The music sounds good but the vocals sound like cd quality. On a side note picked up Mozart Requiem (Karajan), Beethoven's Sym 5 & 7 (Kleiber) both Deutsche Gramaphones + Dvorak Slavonic Dances (Fischer) Philips original multi-ch dsd recording for the same price & they sound excellent. (mind me - just a dvd-audio guy checking out the 'other side').
