I think this is an absolutly hilarious little comedy with Martin Short and Danny Glover! I watched it twice on TBS this past weekend, and forgot just how funny it was, it gave me a good laugh when it was so desperatly needed! I called my local dvd retailer the next day to order a copy of it, and was told that it wasn't on dvd yet.
So Universal, please consider a good dvd release of this overlooked lttle gem, and a commentary track by Martin Short wouldn't hurt, thanks.

i was recently having a conversation with my mother about the funniest movie she has ever seen, and she said she remembers when she first saw pure luck, she could not stop laughing, especially at the scene where Spoiler:martin short swells up because of the bee sting...so if universal releases this, i will make her day and surprise her with this underrated gem of a comedy.

I'm sorry. I know I said I would never criticize other people's taste but I have to object.
I love SCTV and Martin Short, but Pure Luck makes Club Paradise look like Casablanca. My review for Pure Luck, when I wrote for my college paper, was two words. Pure was one of them. Luck wasn't.

I would second this one. Universal would sell at least 2 copies to my family alone. This is one of my dad's favorite movies of all time, right next to "The In-Laws".
