A highly under-rated movie and one I wouldn't hesitate to add to my collection. Certainly not the most sought after movie but a fine film nonetheless. A commentary with Joe Flaherty and Eugene Levy would be excellent, but as long it's presented in its OAR I'd buy it.

It doesn't play as funny as I thought it was when I saw it as a teenager (and a huge SCTV mark), but I would definitely buy this! But let's get director and fellow SC alum David Steinberg on this proposed commentary track, and maybe throw in the deleted scenes that were edited into the original TV broadcast to make up for the dirty scenes that had to be cut. One sets up a gag that was paid off in the closing credits that never made sense in its theatrical version.

"So I go off to be alone with my thoughts. And I'm alone, I'm alone, I'malone I'maloneI'maloneI'maloneamaloneamalone..."

I love this, being a big SCTV fan. I especially like the spoofs of the dubbed kung fu movie and of 50s sitcoms. Out of print to long and needed on dvd!

Hopefully now that Universal has been sold, their catologue will get more attention and we may indeed see the late, great John Candy in action.
