Even though this movie isn't released in theaters yet, will Universal or Columbia be picking this one up. I went to the LIONS GATE FILMS website and looked at their movies and a lot of them were under a TRIMARK lable. I really don't like TRIMARK to be honest and I don't like how the chapter stops are on the back and they don't give lil nifty inserts. And a lot of the time, they don't give many features on their DVDs. So I looked at the covers to many of these LIONS GATE movies on the website and many just said TRIMARK and had no mention of LIONS GATE, but then there will titles such as AMERICAN PSYCHO and BUT I'M A CHEERLEADER and these did have 'LIONS GATE FILMS presents' in the credits at the bottom. So, I was wondering since "O" is a Lions Gate Films release, will TRIMARK or will another studio like UNIVERSAL pick it up like they did with AMERICAN PSYCHO and BUT I'M A CHEERLEADER.
If so:
UNIVERSAL or any other STUDIO please do consider a special edition or at least a good treatment to the movie which hasn't been released in theaters for 2 years. Not to mention that JULIA STILES and JOSH HARTNETT are now stars which people would buy a movie for. I'm kind of glad that this movie was cancelled 2 years ago because if it came out people wouldnt really know who they were. But now it has a chance of at least some Box Office and a nice DVD to come out on a release date of August 25th, 2001 (which has been reported to be the release date of the movie). so there is time to come up with a nifty special edition!
