Are uninterruptible power supplies recommended for usage with HDTV's? They are normally advertised for usage with PC's, but given the $$ investment in a HDTV, should I pick up a UPS system? If so, what rating would be preferable?
    Thanks,
    Dave

    Dave,
Ah, you've stumbled upon the little UPS secret. Absolutely YES! I have a 900 VA UPS on my HDTV. The larger the better would be the norm, but since you are gonna be right there watching TV, you really only need enough to get you by for a very short period of time, like 900 VA (unless you like watching TV when the rest of the neighborhood is dark [IMG]) Some models are also good for smoothing out the voltage fluctuations.
Additionally, I have UPS's on all my other A/V and computer systems throughout the house. Oh, and I have a 12,000 watt generator standing buy, just in case [IMG]
