Wow, thats great news....Unforgiven is one of those movies that has been on my wanted list for like a year and a half, and I always find something I want more everytime I decide to get some movies. A 2 disc SE, with hopefully a better transfer, will definitely make me get this one.

I just hope that it will at least have a new transfer.

It's been really difficult not purchasing this. Hopefully a re-worked transfer and great extras. Thanks WB.

With a new transfer and a 2 disc treatment, this should make for a sweet purchase!

"Yeah, well, I guess he had it comin'."
"We all got it comin', kid."

I guess I'll be able to give my current copy to my brother. One of my absolute favorite films.

My dad already has the first one, but if he doesn't pick up the new one (which is highly likely) I'll definitely be adding it to my collection.

This current barrage of Warner 2-discers gives me hope for proper treatment of Shawshank Redemption, Casablanca, Goodfellas, and oh so many more great films that Warner has in its vast catalog.

This is great news. I need some good news today.

Unforgiven was , I think, the second DVD I bought when I was "buying" a few years ago. Air Force One was the 1st.

Other than Josey Wales, my favorite western by Clint. Just a simple classic. Let's hope they do it justice with a pristine transfer and a solid audio track. dts would do just fine ........ !

The original transfer was (is) a fright -- it is so poorly treated. Do it up big, Warner !

I really hope Batman (89) gets this new two-disc SE treatment from Warner.

Also, are these new two-disc sets going to be in snappers? Or, do we get a better case?

I'm sure they'll use 2-disc digipaks similar to Harry Potter.

This is great news. This is my favorite Clint Eastwood movie and one of the best movies of the 1990s. This is one of the first DVD movies I bought 2.5 years ago. The movie is so good that the quality of the transfer did not bother me much. Now where is that often rumored redo of Shawshank Redemption?

Wow! I can now finally pick up Unforgiven and True Romance. I have been holding off on these two in hopes for Special Editions and now it looks like my 4 years of patience has paid off. [IMG]
