"Recently on Love Line, a nationally syndicated radio show, Mila Kunis, better known as the voice of "Meg Griffin" on the hilarious, but short lived cartoon comedy Family Guy, informed the hosts of Love Line, Adam Carolla and Dr. Drew that a "Family Guy DVD Set" is in the works! Mila is quoted as saying that she and other cast members had "...just finished recording the audio commentary.""

This is awesome news. This seems like a reliable source to me. I really cannot wait.

Looks like there's a bit more on this at DamnYouAll.net, but not much more. Great news, though!

I have been discussing Family Guy DVDs with my pals, both fans of the show, and I really hope if it happens, they put out the entire series in one set (a la Sports Night).

Incidentally, Family Guy fans should watch the Simpsons Treehouse of Horror XIII tomorrow (Sunday) night for a little surprise...

Any chance they'll include the banned episode "When You Wish Upon a Weinstein"?

I don't know what Fox was all upset about anyways, that particular episode wasn't all that offensive.

It's not like they haven't shown worse. Often.

What about Osama singing showtunes? I remember that was removed when they showed Road to Rhode Island a while ago. Hopefully that will be on the DVD...

I think the Weinstein episode was banned (restricted, whatever you want to call it) because that was one episode where whatever line they might have stretched in the past finally broke.

Between Stewie asking a glasses-less Meg "Is this a poopy or a Toblerone?", many offensive Jewish jokes (golden rule in Hollywood: Never make fun of Jewish people unless you yourself are Jewish), and Quagmire masturbating in front of Peter's wife, I think Fox just pulled the plug on this one. Is it all funny? Hell yes. Is it all offensive? To me, no, but to middle America, hell yes.

But I'm glad it's coming to the DVD set. Now my Optimus Prime reference below will make a lot more sense.

I'll buy this set. Though there are days I wish you could watch it sans the peter story arcs, he got on my nerves after a while.

Can't wait to see the Stewie Time machine episode again.

Looks like hearsay to me. I'll believe it when I see it on the shelves.
