Um...anti-clipping filter? (1 Viewer)

Yeah yeah, I'm a noob.

If my receiver sends a clipped signal to my sub, I want it filtered out so the sub won't go nuts and become damaged. Is there any such thing? (just something small and in-expensive that I can put on the line between my receiver and sub amp).

Sorry, Jonny, no such thing. Not to worry, though; a distorted line-level signal will not hurt your sub. Furthermore, I seriously doubt your receiver could send a clipped signal to the sub. Typically it is an amplifier that clips, not a pre-amp.
