Ultimate Idiot: I have had a misspelled username for eighteen months (1 Viewer)

So I have been a member here since June 18th, 2012. Now it's true, I don't post on here all that much, but apparently I also don't look at any of those posts all that clearly, because, had I bothered to, I would have noticed that, apparently since Day One, I have been using a misspelled username.

The username should be McCrutchy, not McCructhy.

I always thought it was weird that I could never login to this site using my username, and now I see why.

Maybe it's just me, but every time I see "McCructhy", I read it as "McCrutchy". I have to do a double take every time. I guess that explains how I never noticed. Still, that has been an unpleasant discovery about myself.

I've always noticed the strange spelling and kinda figured it was a mistake.

But, this is the first time I'm seeing this thread. I guess one of the owners must've fixed things up.

Ron changed it for me after I PMed him about it.

It is now in its proper noun form.

Person, place, thing, animal or idea...I leave it to you to decide.

Personally, I'd go in for any and/or all of them.
