The year is 1974. Over in the country of merry olde England, an ensemble comedy troupe had already redefined the face of television comedy with their famous "Flying Circus" sketch show as well as two sketch-filled movies. When the time came to make their first narrative film, these six minds descended on the northern plains of Scotland, and produced not only a Classic Comedy, but an essential piece of Cinema History.
