I wonder if this will be available in the video department of Spatula City, Spatula City, Spatula City?
Seriously, this is very welcome news. To celebrate, I'm gonna drink from the firehose!

Finally! Al is pretty tech savvy so I'm sure we need not worry about anamorphic etc.

Given that MGM's other recent SE's are superb, I'll be counting the days until next summer...
As George Newman would say... "This means something...this is important."
    ADD:
Here's some stuff I'd like to appear on the disc:
    "Those Darn Homos!" cut scene.
    Trailers/ TV spots
    UHF music video
16x9 matted transfer (UHF is open matte and should be matted to 1.85:1)
DD 5.1 and DTS 5.1 remixes (The stems should be readily availible...it's only 12 years old)
commentary by Weird Al, Jay Levey, Michael Richards, and Victoria Jackson.
    photo gallery
reproduction of UHF booklet handed out at theaters
    ------------------
    P.S.: There's no P.S.

EXCELLENT. Now all we need on DVD is "Rad" and "The Last Unicorn" and I'll have most of the 80s movies I want on DVD! [IMG]

If this isn't an SE, we're all going to have to look the Potato of injustice in the eye.
    Can't wait!

This is great news! If only Columbia would release Monster Squad, Anchor Bay or Disney would release Flight of the Navigator, and Universal would release Cloak and Dagger, I'd have all my most wanted, forgotten 80's titles!

    Whoohoo!!!!!!
MGM, if you're listening, let Al do whatever he wants. This will make you money if it has an Al stamp of approval on it. As long as it's anamorphic and the way he wants it, you have my, and hundreds of thousands of other Al fans' money already

Maybe there will be a special deal. Buy 12 copies of the DVD and get the next for just 1 penny!
for an Easter Egg, maybe it'll have the Blind mans Rubiks cube game.... a black screen.
Well, I think these fries are just about done.

Not only is this great news, but Return of the Killer Tomatoes, another incredibly funny and underrated comedy from the late '80s, also hits stores around the same time.
