I just saw over at dvdempire that the sequel to the movie Zapped! is coming out on dvd June 24. But, where is this 80's classic?? C'mon MGM it has to be somewhere on the schedule?

I have both on laserdisc, but Zapped Again has a weird defect on side 2 that makes it skip in 1 place, so that's the one I really need to replace. Kinda dumb as far as sequels go but entertaining nonetheless. Whatever happened to the guy in that movie? He reminded me a lot of David Spade.

Sure, they're prequels, but enough about semantics

Star Wars is a very good example, faltering only because of the "prequelness" factor.

I was thinking about Rescuers Down Under (with Rescuers still not quite out yet). Or Major League II/Major League. Or Lethal Weapon 4/LW 1-3.

The Lion King is another good example. We won't have the original here for months, but Lion King II has been out since 1999.
