I just got this set, but I don't think my wife will let me listen to it for weeks.
Wouldn't it be great to hear songs again that were rarely performed live, like 'One Tree Hill', or to hear other stuff that was superb live but is not in the 'iconic' portion of the catalog, like 'Trip Through Your Wires' or 'The Unforgettable Fire' or 'A Sort of Homecoming'?lol - i couldn't possibly agree more angelo! those are some of my all-time fave tunes...especially 'one tree hill'...
If only the quality of the recordings on the disc wasn't so poor.Yeah, U2 did NOTHING worthwhile for that whole decade, did they? Just crap upon crap upon crap...:rolleyes
Yeah, U2 did NOTHING worthwhile for that whole decade, did they? Just crap upon crap upon crap...I didn't say anything about their music being poor, but when they have audible pops, glitches, jitter/distorion, hisses, and hum in the various tracks I'm not going to be overly excited about it. The tracks they compiled sound better on their original discs than on the compliation itself. Everyone I've played the disc for can't believe how poor it's quality is (and yes I've heard more than 1 copy of it to make sure I didn't get a bad disc).
