While listening to "Achtung Baby" the other night, I was thinking about how awesome it would sound on SACD. Hopefully, this is true, but I'll temper my expectations until I hear (read) some more.

I really do not like their more recent stuff, but I'll most likely pick up Joshua Tree, and hopefully they will also release The Unforgettable Fire on SA. I started listening to them when October first came out, but my favorites are War through Rattle & Hum, after that I didn't like what they turned into. I already have the albums I like on vinyl, so SACD probably won't be an improvement

I doubt this is true but if it is joshua tree in SACD would force me to upgrade ASAP.

Not a huge U2 fan but would pick them up on hi-rez. I do like enough of their stuff to purchase.
