Type of Paint for around screen and ceiling (1 Viewer)

I'd like to paint the wall around the screen and ceiling a dark color - likely black to absorb excess light. What type of paint do you recommend. I assume a flat finish?

I used Lowe's Kettle Black for our HT. Inexpensive and eats light! Great coverage with single application.

Keep in mind that some people think that too much black makes the room look "gloomy" when not actually watching a movie. Many people go with a dark color, but not necessarily black (i.e. burgundy, dark green). This makes the room look brighter when the lights are on, but then it still looks black when watching a movie.
