1. If a DVD player has 3:2 pulldown support, does the display device have to support it as well?

2. Are there any receivers out there that support DVD-Audio and SACD multi-channel decoding? (I know this one is inappropriate for this forum area, but hey, 1 out of 2 ain't bad!)

2)No--nobody makes a player that will pass DVDA or SACD digital bitstreams so nobody makes a receiver that will decode them.
