Two STB's...is it possible? (1 Viewer)

Is it possible to run two STB's to my Mits Ws-55809? That is, have some non-HD DirecTV receiver to get the DirecTV stations as well as say the Samsung SIR-T150 to receive OTA-only HD signals?

If so, how would I hook it up?

If not, why not?

And, are there any advantages / disadvantages to doing things this way?

Sure..It would be no problem at all...You samsung Hd ota receiver would plug into the Hd component input and your regular Direct tv receiver into any other available input...
