Unless I'm reading this wrong, all the titles listed are DVDs. The Blu-Ray prices remain at 29.95.

I can't remember last years sale and the post doesn't say specifically -- will this sale apply to tcmshop as well as Screen Archives?

If the prices are the same then there is the possibility of Free shipping at tcm.

I'm assuming it won't apply to those titles at the SAE storefront on Amazon.

Definitely some titles I will pick up. With our crappy Canadian dollar it has been hard to get my head around buying from Twilight Time lately as it works out to about $37.50 a title, plus shipping, so this makes them more psychologically doable. Decisions,,,,decisions.

I'm getting Inherit the Wind, even though money is rather short right now.

I know what you mean! I've just found out that I need a new roof for my house and it going to cost an expletive deleted fortune! I can't afford to spend money on discs . . . and now this cruel temptation! :) I reckon Twilight Time has a sadistic sense of humor!

Disappointed to see that most of the titles I have bought (1940s/50s) are still available!

I sympathize and thus realize why we aren't seeing a great number of them in each of the monthly release announcements. Those of us who love that era of movies are a passing breed, I'm afraid.

You may well turn out to be right Matt, but I hope that there are other factors involved. I feel the TT pricing strategy has something to do with it; I know I have often baulked at the price of titles I'd love to pick up, so this sale represents an opportunity for me to pick up some titles I've craved for a while.

This is not meant as a criticism of TT, because they know what they need to do to keep their business profitable; this is simply an observation that a consequence of their pricing strategy might be unsold titles on hand, despite limited release.
