Tweaking/Calibration for old Hitachi RPTV? (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

I told my father about all the cool stuff I found on the web for my Sony HS10. He was impressed by my ability to open up the set and re-focus it, etc.

Well, he wondered if I could do the same for his Hitachi 60SX12B RPTV. This is a pretty darn old TV. It's a '96 model. I did some google searches, but I wansn't able to find anything beyond a site where I can order the service manual.

Does anyone have any tweak guides for this or similar televisions. I'm not really comfortable just opening up someone else's set and just "winging it".

There are a couple of sections for Hitachi...one for general info and conversation, and one for tweaks and stuff specifically for Hitachi.
