Mike OConnell
Second Unit
Here is my system.
I have the Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8000 hooked to my Denon 5800 via both the coaxial digital and analog audio outputs. The video is switched through my 5800 and the output goes to a SE 13-HD FPTV.
I have the audio output on the E8000 set to "100" - the highest setting. The problem I have is that I need to have the volume on the 5800 nearly 10 dB higher when using the E8000 versus using my VCR that I used as a tuner previously.
Any other users of the E8000 out there have similar experiences?
Thanks,
Mike
