Need some help wiring my HITACHI 53sbx01 to an Onkyo 702.For the audio connection using analog {no digital on tv}it says to connect receivers VIDEO IN 3L/R JACKS to an analog audio output on the tv,the only audio output on the tv is an AUDIO TO HI-FI.Is this the same as audio out?I'm a little confused because it also says that if the tv doesn't have an audio out to connect the receiver to a vcr and use its tuner-wasn't planning on using my old vcr at all if I could help it. Thanks...

    Dennis,

"Hi-fi" and "receiver" are often used interchangeably, so yes, you can connect your TV's "Audio to Hi-Fi" to your receiver.

If you have a cable/satellite box, it would be better to connect the audio from your cable/satellite box directly to your receiver, especially if you don't intend to use your TV speakers.
