I'm looking for a widescreen (16:9) stand for my Philips 30PW8402 (30"). Everything I see has two shelves but I'm looking for something with at least 4. All the entertainment centers are made for square tv's.

Anyone know somewhere to buy this stuff online for a good deal? Recomendations?

4 shelves is tough on a short stand, you don't get much room between the shelves, some of the high end custom cabinets may work for you, but your probably going to be looking up at the set a little

Please ask for specific advice about A/V accessories in this section. The Basics area is for general discussion at the beginner level. Thanks.

OK, how about one like this:

I want something a little wider and maybe a little deeper. The height is about right.

Maybe I need to go more upscale...but I can't find anything that will hold a 16:9 TV.

I have a Salmander Twin 40 (www.mander.com) in walnut with walnut sides and mesh doors and 8 adjustable shelves (10 total if you include the fixed bottom shelf). It's a little taller then I think you want but they make a Twin 20 and 30 in shorter heights and they also now sell triple-wide stuff. Not cheap but very good quality and can hold a lot of weight. I was using this stand to hold my 40" CRT (300lbs) in my bedroom but I've moved and now that TV is in my living room its on a Boltz TVXL stand.
