I have a Samsung HT E5550W Home Theater. Lately, the TV source keeps changing randomly while using the HT. I have done a factory reset and updated to the latest s

I suspect that it could be in response to HDMI-CEC signals from the HT. I think Samsung calls this Anynet+ If you don't need to use HDMI-CEC just turn in off in your settings of your HT Set. Look in the setup menu for something refering to Anynet+ or HDMI-CEC. You could also turn it off in your TV settings.

HDMI-CEC allows devices to communicate over HDMI so for example if your TV is on to your cable input and you turn on the Samsung HT to eject the disc you were watching last night, the TV will detect that and switch to that input, or if you turn the Samsung HT on or off it could turn the TV on or off. In the setup menu of each device you can enable/disable this or even specify which type of commands you want your device to send or respond to. If you aren't using it or don't want to just disable it.
