I remember seeing somewhere on the web a way to calculate how large a 4:3 image will appear on a 16:9 television and vice-versa, but I just can't find the website anywhere. Does anyone know of it? I know the one for calculating screen size based on distance.

    Thanks for the help.

If my calculations are correct, 4:3 image on a 16:9 TV has a size of 0.817 * DIAG and 16:9 image in a 4:3 TV has a size of 0.918 * DIAG

I remember when calculators were the size of TVs.
    Thank goodness for miniaturization. [IMG]

I remember TVs the size of modern TVs, their screens the size of modern calculators. Thank goodness for progress! [IMG]
