Unfortunately, this will probably be the "remastered" versions where they messed around with the lighting and effects? Is any information available about this?
Yes the R2 version is out on 4th November here (Season1, season 2 is Feb 2003)...
It is not the remastered versions it is the originals as broadcast.
Also each ep has a group commentary with the cast (Rimmer, Lister, Holly and Cat)...
There also outtakes and 15 mins of deleted scenes plus a documentary (30 mins?) plus other extras...
There should be a link somewhere to complete specs hang on..........

As for R1? I'm not sure.....

Buck Rogers in the 25th Century Season 1
Charlie's Angels Especially the Cheryl Ladd/Jaclyn Smith/Shelly Hack season.
I'm frankly amazed this isn't out yet considering how successful the movie was.
Batman (The Adam West show)
Speed Racer -- though it is out in R4 Australia -- I just ordered a disk from there.

"Once and Again" and "My So-Called Life" are being released, and I'm guessing that "thritysomething" will get a release eventually, so I have high hopes that Relativity will be released someday.

The Pretender, including the special TV movies made for TNT
MacGyver
The Equalizer
Matlock (seriously)
Perry Mason and Columbo. I'll skip Murder She Wrote and Diagnosis: Murder :)
Quantum Leap
The Powers of Matthew Starr (heh, how many of you remember THAT series?)
And while we're on obscure early-80's shows, how about that short-lived one called Cliffhanger?
Starman
Otherworld (yes, all 6 episodes :))
Voyagers
Amazing Stories
Automan and Manimal (if memory serves, these 2 were shown back-to-back on I think NBC). OK, I can do without the second one...
V5 (the short-lived but intricately-detailed show on Fox).
Push, Nevada -- all the filmed episodes, please, not just the ones aired up through next week's cancellation
The Wonderful World of Disney I'll second that one
Highlander: The series -- is this one coming??
Red Dwarf and Babylon 5, both which, thankfully, are already slated

Dana, Universal announced that Quantum Leap would start hitting next year (2003).
As far as V5 goes, it was scheduled once upon a time and then cancelled...entire series in one box. :frowning: That was, IIRC, a couple of years ago now. I wish, oh I wish, this DVD would get revived!
