TV setup, does this seem reasonable?

I have a laserdisc player with RF output. I was thinking I could use that with my Video Essentials LD to calibrate the RF inputs on my TV.
Does this sound worthwhile or am I just wasting my time.
    Thanks
    Ron

    Greetings
It would only be accurate for other LAserdiscs viewed via RF.
Broadcast material varies so much from channel to channel making any gains futile. You will simply see how off everything is.

Thanks Michael, I was afraid it would be something like that.
