Im looking at buying a cheap 32'' LCD strictly for playing PS3 games, and was curious if I should buy a TV with a native resolution of 1080i, or is 720p going to be just fine?

I am aware that it wont be able to play 1080p with the blue-ray player, but will I be able to get all of the HD quality out of the games with a 720p native resolution?

Hi Eric - Currently no display actually displays more than one native HD resolution. If you purchase a CRT it will natively display 1080i. If you purchase a fixed pixel type display such as DLP LCD LCOS they will natively display in 720p.

Don't worry what the native resolution of the set is. All HDTV's are capable of converting to 720p and 1080i. [IMG]
