I am in the market for a tv 50" or bigger hdready or better and i have been doing alot of research and looking in stores.My budget is between 3 and 5 thouand .It will be for a dedicated home theater but i also want to watch regular tv as well as hdtv on it (so i think fp is not what im looking for,but not sure yet).Any recomendations?

If you have a dedicated room with light control, IMO FP is the way to go. For 3-5L you can get some very decent DLPs and other digital projectors that should suit most just fine. If you are particularly PQ conscious, or become aware about PQ considerations, you should also strongly consider a used/refurbed CRT projector. They aren't for the faint of heart technically, but with the right space and effort, they'll be the best option for theater-quality video. If you watch a LOT of TV though, a digital may well be the best route.
