tv problem: color distortion in circle patterns

    (sorry about the links not working, but you need 15 posts to post links, but you can just copy and paste if you wish)

    i dont know what happened. was working fine one minute, then all of the sudden, this happened. maybe the subwoofer from my computer was too close? maybe because the dvd player was on top of the tv (wasn't on though).

    any ideas on what this might be? or how i might fix it?

    As you said, Your sub-woofer might have caused it. Try turnning the tv "ON" & "OFF" a few times in a row & see if that takes care of it.

    i tried that. and, it didnt do anything. i also tried doing it periodically.

    that's bad enough you'll probably need service, looks like the degauser is malfunctioning
