If you want to know what the layouts are for a particular dvd set, one can check the listing for the title on barnes and noble's web site.

Found no such info for the season 3 DVD release there, but I did find out on an eBay listing there are seven discs (as before with the season 2 DVD set, with 3 episodes per disc for discs 5-7). I am starting to think, in this case, the 5th disc in the season 3 set ends with part 1 of "The Bunker" and disc 6 begins with part 2 of that episode.

Disc 5:
17. Doomsday (2/16/69)
18. Live Bait (2/23/69)
19. The Bunker (Part 1) (3/2/69)

Disc 6:
20. The Bunker (Part 2) (3/9/69)
21. Nitro (3/23/69)
22. Nicole (3/30/69)

Disc 7:
23. The Vault (4/6/69)
24. Illusion (4/13/69)
25. The Interrogator (4/20/69)

Occasionally the dvd layout contents is missing from the barnes and noble listings.

Except for season 3, the other MI season sets (1,2, 4-7) all have the layout contents listed on barnes and noble's web site.

This link helped me find out the placement of the season 3 contents! And they match my observations!
