I have a narrow hallway and then a 90 degree turn through a narrow door to reach the ultimate resting place for my soon to be purchased tv. I am interested in purchasing the Toshiba 57H84 rear projector tv which is approximately 24 1/2 inches deep. To get the tv into the room will require turning it on its head (so that it goes in vertically rather than horizontally). Will this kind of handling harm the bulb or otherwise damage the set? Any advice would be appreciated.

you should be fine, just do it gently, and never jar the set or drop it or anything like that of course.
