I'm sure this has been brought up, but search is off now.

How much power is recommended to match with the tumult? Any info out there about power to max out with given enclosure volumes?

Any particular amps you'd pick? Plate or rack.

    Thanks

This is what I was thinking of. Like the charts at the bottom of this Brahma page, but for the Tumult.

Think the Tumult runs about the same?

Sounds like the Adire HS500 (720 watt at 4ohm) might be a decent match in a sealed box around 3ft^3.

Even though it was hard to hear you clearly, i can tell you are a good singer Jack. That's funny. I never knew you had it in you. For some reason I had you pegged as a very very conservative house puppy (like Sean Connery's character in the movie "Saving Forrester" but just younger) who housed all of this knowledge that only people in the right place at the right time would have a chance to behold. I guess I had you pegged wrong.

    Good song and keep rocking!!

Thanks, Martice. [IMG] "House puppy"? Hehe, I'd certainly like to be the person you describe. [IMG]

Hmmm, any other opinions about power to match a Tumult?

What "opinions" are you looking for? Dan says 720 watts works well. You could use more. There's no "match", it depends completely on what you put it in and how loud you want it. Download WinISD Pro and see for yourself what changing power input does.
