UPS just delivered my Tumult. As soon as I get home, I will open it up and put it in it's new home. Sure hope the wait will now payoff!

This will be going in a 2.5 cu ft sealed enclosure powered by the HS500 amp. Since this is my first subwoofer, I don't have anything to compare it with. I want to thank everyone for providing their knowledge to those of us who are newbies in the DIY arena, especially Jack Gilvey, Brian Bunge and Tony Gomez. I have learned a tremendous amount amount about speakers over the past year. Many thanks to Kyle for his assistance with this project. I will be sure to post my thoughts about the sub in the near future and how it works with music and movies.

My Tumult was delivered today too. Even though you've seen the pictures, the size of this thing is immense.

    Dean,

I'm glad that I've been able to help out in some way. I'm looking forward to receiving two of my three Tumults tomorrow. It's annoying though. They're already in the Atlanta area, but the hub out of Athens actually is where my packages come from. So they arrive in Atlanta, then they send them to Athens, and then to me the following day. The crazy thing is, depending on what route they take, they may actually pass within 6 miles of my house going from one location to the other! Maybe I can highjack that truck! [IMG]

Maybe the truck will open and the tumults will fall out just lying on the side of the road.

I'd have to pick up 4 of them and install them like a halfstack in my 4runner and feed them a kilo each.

Seth, sounds you we're on the bottom of the back order log, Ugh. Kyle, any idea on when I'll be seeing my two drivers? Will I get an e-mail before they're shipped. Thanks.

I had to call Adire about my damaged Tumult and Dan said the rest should be coming in next week.

Well, Dan said he would send the addresses to the build house and have them shipped directly from there to the remaining preorder customers. I would imaging all remaining drivers for stock will be at adire next week.

Maybe the shipping order is inversely proportional the amount of bitching?

They are being sent out in a completely random basis which is fairest for everybody.
