Christmas is on December 12th :b
My Tumult has arrived. My wife found it at our doorstep this afternoon. She said she had a he** of a time getting it into the house. I can't hook it up tonight....Tumult is not a drop in placement for Tempest.
This weekend I am going to build a Sealed sonotube sub. I will be sure to keep yous updated on its progress.
;)

We are all on the edge of our seats to hear the first impressions of the Tumult.

Tell us more about your first impressions of the driver!

So, how did someone in Canada get one before the rest of us in the US?

Congrats btw.

Prolly cause he's the guy that named the driver no?

Craig
I kinda forgot about that detail. I just figured that since they were all supposedly shipped at the same time the people in the US would get them first due to shorter shipping timeframes and the fact that there's no customs involved.

It also could be because he lives very close to Adire and shipping times could be short.

On another note, I called Adire yesterday and requested a list of Tumults that have shipped and they should provide that information for me shortly.

Pictures as requested:

I brought my sub to work for show and tell.
The women don’t get it but all the guys are two thumbs up.
They figure the speaker was "binfordised":)
And…
A big thank-you to Kyle Richardson of Link Removed and Dan Wiggins of Adire Audio for their generosity. I am truly grateful.
Dan
P.S.

It is a crying shame that the basket on that sucker will be hidden from view for its entire productive lifetime.

If ever there was a reason for a clear plexiglass enclosure, this baby is it.

Keep us informed as to your progress and good luck.

Awesome looking driver! I know a certain forum member is Philly sure is kicking herself for not getting in on the pre-order for this monster! All I can say is...WOMEN! :)
