For those who rent, "The Deep End" starring Tilda Swinton and "The Man Who Wasn't There" starring Billy Bob are coming out tommorrow. Both are very good off beat suspense films and are superior to their mundane competition "Domestic Disturbance" with John Travolta. John really hams it up in this predictable "thriller".

"Tape" starring Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman is also worth watching. It started out kind of boring an pointless but after thirty minutes or so it gets much more interesting.

Fortunately all the above DVD's are in widescreen only so full frame won't be mucking things up on the rental front this week.

I'm definetly buying The Man Who Wasn't There and I might check out Tape. I really enjoy the films of Richard Linklater.

What if you've already bought both of them?
Why buy when you can rent? ;)
Seriously though, I'm probably going to go out and buy "The Man Who Wasn't There". "Tape" and "The Deep End" were worth watching but I didn't like them enough to buy them.
