Hmmm, you must. Interestingly enough, I just did a search for it myself, but it was not found. Maybe because it is a hidden folder?

In any event, if you didn't do anything weird in your install, it should be in your profile. If you have WinXP it should be located in:

C:Documents and Settings*User Name*Application DataMozillaFirefoxProfiles

You'll have to make sure you can see hidden files, since Application Data is a hidden folder. This is also where your bookmarks (considered by some to be the most important file in the profile) are kept, so if you want to back them up, you can copy them to another folder as well.

Interesting that my search function did not find it, but I looked and there it was. Must be hidden...

I deleted it, shut down and rebooted but it did not help. I may end up uninstalling and doing a clean reinstall.

i have an issue with ff.
i have to keep resetting the charcter encoding.
whatever the setting it keeps going to is,
it always creates question marks instead of " marks.

i change it to western but it always goes back.

i try to get all windows to open in a new tab but i have to
right click and select for this to happen.

i saw instructions on how to fix that earlier in this thread but that doesnt seem to work.
