Truth in advertising

    My wife and I went to a movies last weekend, and we were thinking the theaters should just tell it like it is, and call the drinks: Bladder Buster, Super Bladder Buster, and Mega Bladder Buster. They should also call it Gum Sticker Popcorn.

    This way people will know what sort of epxerience they're in for:

    "yeah I'd like a Mega Bladder Buster and a large Gum Sticker, for my 3 hr movie please?"

    While they're at it they might as well post the prices you'd pay for the pop and popcorn at a supermarket for comparison. [​IMG]

    P.S. Recently I went to a local theater and a charity affiliated with the cinema had set up a spinning wheel. It was $2 a spin and every spin was a winner, although 99.999% of the winners got little bags of microwave popcorn. I asked her if we could nuke the popcorn we won and take it into the theaters. No dice.
