I believe that the way I currently understand it is that the RP62 and RP82 use the same FLI2200/DCDi de-interlacer chipset, but the RP82 has a better MPEG decoder than the RP62. Plus the RP82 does DVD-Audio and the RP62 does not.

I think Tweeter may be carrying the RP82 soon. I went in yesterday asking about it (actually, I couldn't remember the exact model number, but mentioned it was one step up from the RP62), and the salesperson looked into the computer and said they would have it in the store in about a week. He said the list price was 229.99, which I think is the list on the RP82.
