I saw a completed auction on E-bay yesterday for a new,sealed box Pioneer Elite DVL-91. It went for $1600.00 They could have bought a new LD-S9 for that and from what I hear had a much better picture.

Just to revive this thread and let everyone know I ordered a LD-S9 this week and hopefully will have it early next week. I looked at all the options of a used player or some new boxed units. I had always wanted to get a CLD-99 etc. when they were new but could never afford them then. I figure I just spent the money now that I didn't have then and got a better player now. Makes sense I think, at least that's what I told myself when talking myself into it.
