I just got done watching True Liesfor the umpteenth time and I was wondering about that chase scene through the keys. Two things that have always boggled me about that

    1. Did they really shoot that scene in the keys? (I seem to remember someone saying they did but I couldn't confirm it)

    2. How did they do the bridge been blown up by missles in the keys?

if someone could answer these 2 questions I would appreciate it because I've been wondering about this lately. Thanks.

My question is how many times did you pause the movie during Jamie Lee Curtis' panty and bra dance scene?[IMG] I think I lost count at about 15.:b
    And Tino is correct.

I thought they were replacing the bridge and got permission to blow it up. Of course as I age, my memory begins to fade.

I know for a fact that the bridge blowing up was a miniature. I saw a making-of thing about it a few years ago. It was a very large miniature, but a miniature just the same.

If memory serves, the actual exploding bridge was a (large) miniature, with a full-size destroyed section being used where necessary afterwards - as Terrel says, they had permission to wreck a section that was being rebuilt anyway.
